When
selling or purchasing a bird, it is best to ask as many
questions as possible. A reputable breeder will be happy
to answer your questions and be on hand before and after
you purchase a bird from them. On the flip side, a responsible buyer will be willing to answer the questions that the breeder may have. When at all possible, travel to the breeder's home or shop to pick your bird up so that you will be able to see the conditions that the bird has been raised in. It also allows you the cash and carry option. If shipping, be sure you know who you are dealing with. Don't be afraid to ask around. |
